Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking for a new opportunity from January? Academics are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Barnet, working 5 days per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chemistry Teacher who is passionate about their subject and committed to helping students develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for Science. You will become part of a supportive department and play an important role in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
The Role
- Start January 2027
- 5 days per week
- Temporary position
- Daily rate of £180 - £260, depending on experience
- Teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
- Support students with different abilities and learning needs
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative Science department
- Prepare students effectively for assessments and examinations
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Chemistry Teacher with relevant UK teaching experience
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Chemistry
- Experience teaching at secondary level
- Confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management
- Able to engage and inspire students across different ability levels
- Committed to supporting students' academic progress
- Available to work 5 days per week from January
