We are advertising both a Marketing Manager and a Marketing Specialist role as we want to find the best person available. We will make a single appointment — the level will depend on the experience and background of the successful candidate. Academic Families is a specialist international education consultancy helping families find the right international education for their children. We work globally, and in particular across SE Asia, LATAM, and East Africa, supporting students and families through every step of the admissions journey and UK guardianship.

We’re growing, and we’re looking for a driven Marketing Specialist who wants to build a career in marketing leadership; and is ready to take on real responsibility from day one.

The opportunity: This is a hands-on role with a clear pathway to Marketing Manager. You’ll work across the full marketing function; paid media, HubSpot CRM, content, social, and regional campaigns; contributing to campaigns that reach international families across three regions. You’ll work alongside the Content Executive and Design Apprentice, gain exposure to team leadership, and be actively developed and supported towards the Marketing Manager role as the business grows.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and deliver global paid campaigns across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn
  • Manage HubSpot; analytics, automation workflows, and data integrity
  • Support WordPress website internationalisation and localisation across our markets
  • Deliver content, email, and social campaigns across SE Asia, LATAM, and East Africa
  • Work with regional BD colleagues on market-specific activity
  • Contribute to performance reporting and marketing analytics
  • Develop progressively into team management as the role evolves

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a marketing executive or coordinator role with a strong campaign delivery track record
  • Working knowledge of paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or equivalent CRM/marketing automation platform
  • Strong digital marketing skills across AEO/SEO, content, email, and social
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and collaborative
  • Genuine ambition to grow into a marketing leadership role
  • Interest in or experience with international markets is a plus
