Academic Appointments are working alongside a number of Primary Schools in the Bradford (BD3, BD5, BD13 and BD15) area who are looking to appoint SEN Teaching Assistants.
Schools are looking to work with passionate and caring individuals who can promote the school’s vision of creating a ‘safe, joyful learning’ for every child in their care.
These are ‘Good’ schools that cater for 3 to 11 year olds with a wide range of complex needs. Pupils may have communication, sensory or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs as well as some challenging behaviours. It has been remarked that pupils are not only happy but keen to learn.
The roles available are due to start immediately on an ongoing basis.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in school is preferable
  • Care background would be an advantage
  • 2x references from educational establishments
  • A valid DBS or be willing to obtain one
  • Team Teach desirable but not essential
