Academic Appointments is working alongside a number of primary schools in the Leeds and surrounding areas looking to appoint SEN Teaching Assistants. Schools are searching for passionate and caring individuals who can promote a safe, joyful learning vision for every child in their care. These are good schools catering for 3 to 11 year olds with a wide range of complex needs, including communication, sensory, or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and some challenging behaviours. Students are not only happy but keen to learn. The roles available are due to start immediately on an ongoing basis.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role in school is preferable
- Care background would be an advantage
- Two references from educational establishments
- A valid DBS or be willing to obtain one
- Team Teach desirable but not essential
Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
