The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Nursery Teacher to lead learning within our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The ideal candidate will bring passion, energy, and a deep understanding of early childhood development to inspire our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, child-centred learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework
  • Create a stimulating environment that supports exploration, independence, and early learning
  • Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families
  • Lead and work closely with Early Years practitioners and support staff
  • Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety practices are consistently upheld

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience working in EYFS, ideally within a nursery or foundation stage setting
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early child development
  • Be nurturing, patient, and passionate about early years education
  • Bring creativity, playfulness, and high expectations to their practice
  • Be a positive team player with excellent communication skills
  • Be committed to inclusive learning and supporting all children to achieve

The school is looking to meet potential candidates and introduce them to the team and the pupils at a convenient time between now and the Xmas Break. This can be informally outside of standard school hours if required.
