Academic Appointments are working with Harrogate primary schools who are currently looking for full-time/part-time teachers to work as part of a dedicated and resourceful KS2 team.
A successful candidate will be:
- Create a stimulating, positive, and safe learning environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils, using assessment data to inform future planning and interventions.
- Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), gifted and talented pupils, and English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.
- Manage pupil behaviour effectively, promoting high standards of conduct and fostering a respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants, to support pupil learning and well-being.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and the wider school community.
- Uphold the school's values, policies, and procedures.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.
To be considered for the role the requirements are:
- Hold QTS or relevant experience.
- Have experience working in a primary school setting.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum is essential.
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one).
