Behaviour Support Worker Required
Here at Academic Appointments we are currently recruiting for Behaviour Support Workers to work on a flexible, ad-hoc basis across a range of primary, secondary, and specialist settings in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in behaviour support, youth work, SEND, or care in the community who wish to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people in an educational environment.
Role Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Availability for ad-hoc, flexible working patterns.
- Team Teach / MAPA training desirable (preferably within the last 2 years).
