Every student at Minerva is supported by their own dedicated tutor and a bespoke programme of study, ensuring they thrive both academically and personally.
We are now seeking to appoint a Vice Principal to join the Senior Leadership Team at an exciting stage of the school’s growth. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and visionary school leader to shape the future of online education.
The Role
Vice Principal – Minerva’s Virtual Academy
Location: Remote (with monthly meetings in London)
Start date: By negotiation
As Vice Principal, you will join the Senior Leadership Team at an exciting stage of the school’s growth and help shape the future of online education.
Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational leadership of the school.
- Support and inspire staff to deliver outstanding online teaching and pastoral care.
- Help shape curriculum innovation and the use of digital learning tools.
- Drive high standards in safeguarding, compliance, and academic outcomes.
- Partner with the Principal and leadership team to build on Minerva’s reputation as a world-class online school.
About You
We are looking for an educational leader who:
- Has proven senior leadership experience (Deputy Head, Vice Principal, Headteacher, or equivalent).
- Is passionate about personalised education and understands that children thrive in different ways.
- Has the vision to embrace innovation in digital learning and online schooling.
- Is highly collaborative, with excellent communication and people leadership skills.
- Brings the energy and ambition to help shape a pioneering school at a key stage in its growth.
