We’re looking for an experienced Service Manager / Band 6 Nurse to join our innovative virtual healthcare team as part of the Our Future Health project. This hybrid role combines clinical expertise with operational leadership to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care through remote service models.
You will lead and manage virtual teams, ensuring services are efficient, cost-effective, and clinically robust. As part of Our Future Health, you’ll play a vital role in supporting research aimed at tackling the UK’s growing disease burden, while driving continuous improvement and exceptional patient experience.
About the RoleIn this role you will:
- Lead and supervise virtual healthcare services, ensuring clinical governance and best practice.
- Act as the main escalation point for operational and clinical queries.
- Manage day-to-day operations, maintaining resilience during peak activity.
- Drive service improvements to enhance patient experience, efficiency, and financial performance.
- Collaborate with the Contract Director to uphold standards and satisfaction.
- Respond quickly to clinical or technical issues to ensure safety and service continuity.
- Promote our Vision, Mission, and Values through positive leadership.
