6 months fixed term contract, full time £26,000-£30,000 per annum

We are growing our consultancy services and are looking for a Junior Consultant for a new contract win with James Paget University Hospital. In this role you'll support our Lead Consultant in driving the improvement of the end-to-end patient experience across all identified processes, systems, and policies.

This role requires a strategic approach to client engagements, utilising the "Discover, Transform and Return Model" of delivery to identify root causes of performance issues and implement co-designed, sustainable solutions. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for administration tasks as well as communicating with stakeholders, so we're looking for someone with high attention to detail and a confident, personable approach.

Everyday you will:

  • Map out existing client processes to support the identification of areas of improvement, utilising a practical problem solving approach to coach the client through improving these processes by addressing the root cause.
  • Utilise lean tools and techniques including the use of practical problem solving, value stream mapping, day in the life of, 5S, 3M and others.
  • Become a "trusted advisor" and "go to" person to the client when they have a problem they need support with.
  • Utilise data to help identify and quantify improvement opportunities, including both existing client data and capturing new data sources.
