We're hiring a Head of Clinical Operations. This is a permanent position, 30 hours a week, with a salary of £46,400-£52,000 dependant on experience. The role is homebased with monthly office visits to London.
Are you an experienced leader and subject matter expert on cardiology diagnostics? We're looking for a Head of Clinical Operations to lead our cardiology team and oversee governance in line with CQC domains of well-led, safe, caring and responsive, whilst ensuring clinical and financial KPIs are being delivered.
Acacium Group are a leading global healthcare delivery partner and we are hiring a Head of Clinical Operations. Our clinical care team works with over 80 NHS trusts to deliver a range of clinical services in hospitals, the community or virtually. Our services include diagnostic, acute and virtual services – all of which are designed and delivered by senior NHS consultants and operational staff who ensure that national clinical guidelines and operational best practice guidance are met.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Provide effective and visible clinical leadership to our clinically based cardiographers and remote based analysis teams.
- Provide coaching and develop staff to reach their full potential, promoting self-development.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, such as acute Trusts, clinical commissioning groups and primary care networks.
- Ensure full compliance with the Xyla quality and governance frameworks and work with the CQC registered manager and Head of Screening Services to ensure services meet the inspection criteria.

Experience and Qualifications We're Looking For
- Degree in Healthcare Science (Cardiology) or equivalent.
- 3 years experience working as a Band 7 Physiologist or Healthcare Scientist.
- Experience leading and managing clinical teams.
- Professional registration with the AHCS or HCPC.
