We’re exclusively supporting a highly respected training provider committed to changing lives through education. They are now seeking a passionate Residential Childcare Tutor/Coach to join their team and support learners across the London region.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced assessor or tutor with Residential Childcare sector knowledge, looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real impact.

About the Role:

You’ll work closely with learners to deliver Residential Childcare qualifications, supporting, guiding, and empowering them to achieve. As a subject matter expert, you’ll combine your sector knowledge and coaching skills to develop and inspire learners on their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging teaching, learning, and assessment sessions within Residential Childcare
  • Guide learners through their qualifications, sharing your knowledge and experience
  • Monitor and review learner progress, developing action plans to ensure success and timely completions
  • Provide continuous support, including careers information, advice, guidance, and pastoral care
  • Build trusted relationships with learners and maintain regular contact throughout their journey
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safeguarding standards

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • A1 Assessor Award, CAVA or equivalent
  • PTTLS or V1 (or willingness to work towards)
  • Relevant sector competence (Residential Childcare NVQ Level 2, 3 or 4)
  • Previous experience as an Assessor/Tutor
  • IT literate and confident using e-portfolio systems
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
