A Day in the Life
As Assistant F&B Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the F&B Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and dining areas.
- Supervising and motivating front-of-house teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Assisting with rota management, staff briefings, and performance coaching.
- Maintaining exceptional standards in food presentation, service delivery, and guest satisfaction.
- Liaising with other departments such as kitchen to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
- Handling guest feedback and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, waste management, and revenue tracking.
- Supporting compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in F&B, restaurant, or hospitality management (preferred).
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for food, beverage, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, mornings, and weekends.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of licensing laws, health & safety standards, and food hygiene best practices.
- Experience with EPOS systems and reservation platforms is advantageous.
