Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced
General Mechanic to join our team.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for a mechanic who enjoys both routine maintenance work and more involved restoration projects.
You will be responsible for
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
- Completing MOT preparation and repair work.
- Rebuilding and restoring Land Rover Defenders.
- Replacing and repairing engines, transmissions, suspension and braking systems.
- Working to a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical workshop skills.
- Experience working on Land Rover vehicles is desirable but not essential.
- Experience rebuilding or restoring vehicles would be a distinct advantage.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Full UK driving licence.
