ABOUT THE ROLE: CONFERENCE & EVENTS SALES EXECUTIVE

As Conference & Events Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue and securing bookings for The Collector’s Hall. You’ll build strong relationships with corporate and private clients, showcasing our unique venue and crafting tailored packages that meet their needs while exceeding expectations.

Reporting to the Conference & Events Sales Manager, you will manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract stage, collaborating with the operations team to ensure a seamless handover for flawless event delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively generate and respond to conference, meeting, and private event enquiries.
  • Host engaging show rounds, confidently presenting The Collector’s Hall’s features and benefits.
  • Prepare bespoke proposals, contracts, and event quotations tailored to client needs.
  • Nurture relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of business opportunities through networking and prospecting.
  • Collaborate closely with operations to ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery.
  • Manage and update booking systems and records accurately.
  • Contribute towards achieving revenue and occupancy targets for the venue.
  • Represent The Collector’s Hall at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience in conference and event sales within a luxury hotel or venue environment.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A professional, confident, and engaging manner.
  • A passion for hospitality and events with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Competence with hotel systems, booking platforms, and Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for client show rounds or industry events.
