Department information:
The focus of this division is on Group Travel Programs, Corporate & Incentive Travel and Travel Experiences & Logistics. Providing itineraries consisting of hotels along with ground services experiences across 3 destinations: UK, Ireland and France.
Role Summary:
Responsible for overseeing daily sales performance and operational activities across multiple teams or locations. Leads and motivates staff, monitors team performance, and ensures operational procedures are followed consistently. Acts as a key link between management and frontline teams, supporting business objectives through effective coordination, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily allocation of work, ensuring all client deadlines and service standards are consistently met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the team, providing proactive support.
- Promote best practices and ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the Line Manager to provide updates to AC Management, including team performance, monitoring training needs, and development progress.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Support the team in sourcing suitable alternatives when requested services are unavailable.
- Handle and resolve escalated customer complaints and staff challenges by identifying root causes, implementing corrective and preventative measures, and ensuring timely solutions while maintaining high service standards and team morale.
- Coordinate emergency phone cover schedules and bank holiday rotas in the absence of the Manager.
- Handle initial client enquiries promptly, ensuring same-day acknowledgement and regular updates.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, resolving issues and communicating new product updates effectively.
