The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
The role is to assist in the preparation, submission and management of planning and environmental permit applications for waste and recycling companies in England and Wales. You'll be part of a small team based in our Stoke on Trent office, but with occasional travel throughout England and Wales. Past experience is not essential; an excellent command of written English, experience of report writing, a willingness to learn and an interest in environmental matters are key to the role.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of planning & permit applications
- Preparation of Fire Prevention Plans and Environmental Management Systems
- Liaison with clients, sub-contractors and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- A relevant degree, e.g. Geography, Environmental Science etc. would be needed.
- Industry specific qualifications would be helpful but is not expected and training will be provided.
- Strong analytical written communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
