SCADA/PLC Engineer

Role Description AC Automation is seeking a talented and motivated JuniorPLC SCADA Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in programming, configuring, and managing PLC and SCADA systems, as well as smart network configurations. This is a full-time office/on-site role in Belfast and Carrickfergus. Key Responsibilities PLC programming for Allen Bradley and/or Siemens systems SCADA programming and network interfacing Configuration and management of smart networks and IT systems Integration of Ethernet/fibre network engineering Essential Criteria Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Proficiency in PLC programming Strong logical problem-solving skills Full driver\’s license Desirable Criteria Experience with SCADA programming Knowledge of Ethernet and fibre network engineering Hands on experience with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs Background in electrical engineering Professional membership of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Remuneration Package Competitive salary (Salary £35k+) Pension scheme Health insurance
