AC Automation are a Northern Ireland based power generation company, specialising in diesel generator services. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with a track record of engine maintenance and troubleshooting skills who would be suited to a field based role maintaining and repairing diesel generators across our customers' sites.
As a mechanic for our company you will be tasked with completing the following duties throughout Northern Ireland:
- Planned and preventative maintenance tasks
- General Servicing
- Reactive maintenance
- Carry out standard diagnosis tests of generators/components to establish faults
- Engine repairs and overhauls
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Experience as a time served mechanic or technician with a plant background or similar industry (generator experience desirable but not essential)
- Apprentice trained, or minimum 5 years' experience in quality service environment within a similar industry
- Ability to work on your own and work overtime when required
- UK Driving license
