    What will you be doing?

Abuelita's Wellbeing supports people who are stressed, in pain, or facing health challenges, especially those who often struggle to access the help they need – including individuals living with chronic pain, those waiting for a diagnosis, and people facing financial difficulties. We believe that feeling well, supported, and cared for should not be a luxury. By making our services accessible to people from all backgrounds, and by being chosen by those who can afford to pay full price, we create a positive ripple effect that benefits the whole community. Our impact is seen in people feeling understood, safe, and more in control of their health and wellbeing. This leads to stronger individuals, healthier families, and more connected, resilient communities. We support refugee women and low‐income clients using proceeds from our private clients and corporate contracts. We are looking to go beyond that and expand our help to the community by reaching out for grants, funding, and sponsorships.

    The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Volunteer Fundraising & Partnerships Lead to help us grow our income, increase our visibility, and build long‐lasting partnerships with companies and grantmakers (including on platforms like Benevity). This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to make a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals while shaping the future of a small but growing community organisation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Fundraising & Corporate Engagement
    • Develop and strengthen our presence on Benevity and other corporate giving platforms.
    • Identify companies, CSR programmes, and employee giving opportunities aligned with our mission.
    • Support the creation of compelling messages, impact statements, and profiles to increase corporate visibility.
  • Grant Writing & Funding Applications
    • Research suitable grants, foundations, and funding streams.
    • Draft or refine grant applications, case‐for‐support documents, and impact statements.
    • Help us create a simple, sustainable grants pipeline and tracker.
  • Strategy & Systems
    • Advise on best‐practice fundraising strategy for a small, values‐led organisation.
    • Support us in developing templates for proposals, partnership decks, and service‐level agreements/contracts.
    • Identify opportunities to diversify income (corporate, trust and foundation, community fundraising, etc.).
  • Optional / If Skilled
    • Guide monitoring & evaluation frameworks.
    • Support storytelling, donor messaging, or social impact reporting.
