We are looking for an experienced Practice Pharmacist with expertise in patient monitoring and recall in primary care to join our team as a Practice Support Pharmacist. This role ensures our clients achieve the best possible outcomes with our software. You will onboard and support GP practices, ensuring the successful adoption of the Abtrace platform, optimise workflows, enhance patient care and improve practice performance. This customer‑facing role involves training, troubleshooting, and proactively engaging with practices to maximise their value from the software. You will also gather user feedback and collaborate with the internal team to continuously improve the platform and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide GP practices through the onboarding process, ensuring smooth setup and configuration of the Abtrace platform and acting as their primary point of contact.
- Deliver tailored training sessions to various team members within a practice, including both administrative and clinical staff, and use your experience in recall searches to teach users how to design recall using the Abtrace Proactive Monitoring Tool.
- Provide ongoing support, resolve issues promptly and collaborate with the Abtrace team to reach solutions efficiently.
- Monitor client utilisation data to identify opportunities for improvement and maximise adoption.
- Collect and communicate user feedback, feature requests and potential improvements to the technical team, working closely with other Abtrace clinicians to address any client concerns requiring clinical expertise.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in primary care, with a solid understanding of GP practice operations.
- Experience in patient monitoring and recall, including QOF, Locally Commissioned Services and Medication Monitoring.
- Proficiency in EMIS or SystmOne, particularly in conducting searches and analysing practice performance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Excellent organisational and self‑management skills, able to work independently and manage time effectively.
Desired Experience
- Commercial experience in the healthcare or health technology sector.
- Active registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Qualified Pharmacist.
