We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our reputable client in Dartford DA1. Reporting into Operations Manager you will ensure your team's daily activity is coordinated to achieve operational targets, whilst identifying areas for quality, cost, and service improvements across the site.
You will lead and mentor a team to improve efficiencies and ensure operational activities are efficiently managed and reported to meet and exceed set contractual KPIs. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement and make sure that the highest levels of Health and Safety are achieved. You will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 06.00-14.30 / 40 hours per week or Monday to Friday 10.00-18.30 / 40 hours per week
Candidate: Our ideal candidates will come with demonstrable experience leading, managing, and motivating a team and will ideally have some knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and SAP. They should be reliable, punctual, and have a flexible approach to work. Proven experience in a similar role, Health and Safety awareness, experience of running a shift/department, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good PC skills (Excel and PowerPoint), and be a strong leader who can motivate and develop a team to deliver positive results are essential.
