Warehouse Loader / Unloader – Furniture
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Loaders / Unloaders to join our team.
The role involves loading and unloading furniture and flat-pack products, as well as carrying out a variety of general warehouse duties.

Working Days: Monday to Friday Working Hours: 06:00–14:30 8h paid/ 30 min break unpaid Pay Rate: £13.31 per hour

- Key Duties
- Loading and unloading sofas, chairs and other furniture products.
- Manually moving and handling flat-pack furniture weighing approximately 40–70 kg.
- Picking furniture and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Checking, sorting and accurately labelling products.
- Moving stock around the warehouse and ensuring goods are stored safely.
- Preparing sofas, chairs and other furniture for delivery.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
- Following all health and safety and manual handling procedures.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual handling.
- Able to safely lift and move furniture, using appropriate team lifting or mechanical assistance where required.
- Good attention to detail when picking and labelling orders.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The Role
This is a hands-on position focused on the handling, preparation and movement of sofas, chairs and other furniture products.
The successful candidate will need to be physically capable, reliable and willing to assist with a variety of warehouse tasks throughout the working day.
