Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experiencedTyre Fitterto join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be confident using a variety of tools and equipment. This is a hands-on role involving the fitting, repair, and maintenance of tyres across multiple vehicle types. The position requires excellent attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct tyre inspections, including assessing condition, pressure, and tread depth
- Replace or repair worn or damaged tyres
- Perform wheel balancing, alignment checks, and tyre rotation
- Assist with training new team members as required
- Carry out other duties as assigned by management
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Tyre Fitter or Tyre Technician role
- Full, valid UK driving licence (manual and automatic)
- Must be at least 21 years old and have held a licence for a minimum of 2 years (for insurance purposes)
Additional Information:
- A practical skills test will be part of the recruitment process
- Shift pattern:6:00 AM 6:00 PM
