Location: NN4 5AF Department: Warehouse / Logistics Reports to: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager Shifts Available 4 days on / 4 days off Fixed shift times: 08:00 20:00 10:00 22:00 Pay Rates Β£12.21 per hour Overtime: paid at 1.25x First 30-minute break : unpaid Second 30-minute break : paid Job Summary: The Stock Controller is responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate records of stock movement, and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet business demands. The role includes stock monitoring, reporting, and coordinating with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in the system. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical counts with system records. Track incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring all stock movements are properly documented. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding stock availability and delivery schedules. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records. Generate stock reports for management as needed. Organize stock storage for efficient access and minimal damage/loss. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in stock handling. Participate in stock takes and assist in improving stock control procedures. Requirements: Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations. Good understanding of stock control systems and warehouse processes. Proficient in using inventory software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Desirable Qualifications: Certification in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
