Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (8h paid, break unpaid)

We are seeking an experienced Fire Door Installer / Passive Fire Protection Operative to join our growing team in the Hampshire area. The successful candidate will have proven experience in fire door installation, remedial works, and fire stopping, with a strong understanding of compliance and safety standards. This role requires a reliable, skilled professional who can work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of fire doors in line with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines
  • Carrying out fire door remedial works and upgrades
  • Installing door closers and associated ironmongery
  • Completing fire stopping works as required
  • Accurately completing job sheets and documentation
  • Working safely and professionally on-site

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in fire door installation and remedial works
  • Experience with fire stopping works
  • Knowledge of door closers and fire-rated ironmongery
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Must have own van and tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working under BM TRADA standards
  • Experience in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
  • Experience working across multiple sites
