About the Role
Abstract Recruitment is currently looking for a motivated and dynamic Onsite Account Manager to join our team, working onsite for our client based in NN4 Grange Park, Northampton. As an Onsite Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, building strong relationships with our client and agency colleagues, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the onsite operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their recruitment needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Maintain positive relationships with agency colleagues and respond to general enquiries, including holiday requests, shift confirmations and attendance queries.
- Conduct candidate inductions and ensure all colleagues have the correct PPE and documentation before starting work.
- Set up and maintain candidate profiles on the clocking-in system.
- Conduct candidate searches using recruitment platforms and social media to generate leads and identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct interviews to assess candidates' experience, skills and suitability for available roles.
- Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ensure suitable candidates are provided.
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records.
- Monitor attendance and support the smooth running of the onsite workforce.
- Stay up to date with recruitment trends and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous recruitment, account management or a related background is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident speaking with candidates, clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Experience using recruitment systems or ATS platforms such as Taleo, PeopleSoft, Workday or Salesforce is advantageous.
- Experience with social media recruitment and candidate lead generation is desirable.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
