We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Minder to join a busy food manufacturing site in Kingston, Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous food production experience and strong mechanical skills who enjoys keeping production lines running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate and monitor production machinery.
  • Carry out basic machine adjustments and minor fault finding.
  • Complete routine machine checks, cleaning and basic maintenance.
  • Escalate more complex engineering issues when required.
  • Perform machine changeovers for different production runs.
  • Ensure products meet quality and food safety standards.
  • Complete accurate production records.
  • Work closely with the Shift Manager and Engineering team.
  • Follow all health & safety and food hygiene procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous Machine Minder experience within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Good mechanical knowledge and confidence carrying out basic machine maintenance.
  • Ability to identify and resolve minor machine faults.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
