Warehouse Administrator

Salary: Β£13.83 per hour

Paid Hours: 8 hours per day

We are looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join our team and support the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operation.

This is a fast-paced role where you will work closely with warehouse teams, customers, suppliers and transport providers, ensuring that administration, dispatch information and customer requirements are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete day-to-day warehouse administration tasks.
  • Record and maintain accurate daily dispatch information.
  • Produce reports as required by the line manager.
  • Update customer systems and online portals.
  • Respond to customer emails and telephone enquiries professionally.
  • Provide accurate information regarding warehouse and dispatch activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers, parcel carriers and transport providers.
  • Process customer requirements in line with agreed procedures.
  • Follow customer complaints procedures where required.
  • Work closely with warehouse colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a busy warehouse environment.
  • Identify and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support colleagues and other members of the team when required.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure information is kept up to date.
  • Work in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements and KPIs.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in warehouse administration or a similar role.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams and Excel.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A flexible and positive approach to changing priorities.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.
  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is desirable. xiskglj
  • Previous stock control or stock management experience is advantageous.
