Abstract Recruitment is currently recruiting Manufacturing Operatives to join our client's growing manufacturing team in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company that manufactures high-quality coaxial radio frequency products used within the defence and aerospace industries. Due to the nature of the products, quality, precision, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling coaxial radio frequency products to a high standard.
- Carrying out soldering, crimping, cable preparation, and assembly work.
- Printing and applying serial numbers to finished products.
- Inspecting finished goods against engineering drawings and work orders.
- Testing products where required.
- Following manufacturing processes and quality procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Previous soldering experience is essential and candidates must be confident using soldering equipment.
- Experience with cable assembly, crimping, or similar precision assembly work is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions and drawings.
