We are seeking an experienced and reliable multi-skilled kitchen fitter with a strong carpentry background to join our team. The role involves working primarily in tenanted social housing properties across South and West London, delivering high-quality kitchen installations and associated works.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
£38k - £40k per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Full kitchen installations, including units, worktops, and finishing
- Carrying out carpentry works to a high standard (core skill)
- Wall tiling
- General decorating (prep, painting, finishing)
- Basic plumbing tasks (e.g., sink connections, tap fitting)
- Installation of latex screeds and vinyl flooring
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, cleanly, and to tenant satisfaction
- Working respectfully in occupied (tenanted) properties
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in kitchen fitting (end-to-end)
- Carpentry/joinery (primary trade)
- Tiling and decorating
- Basic plumbing
- Floor preparation and vinyl laying
- Experience working in social housing / tenanted environments (important)
- Ability to manage work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Good communication skills (especially when dealing with tenants)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude
- Applicants are expected to have the tools required to complete the tasks
