Core Duties & Responsibilities

Route Execution: Operate a 7.5-ton vehicle to complete 6-12 collections of returns from various businesses daily.

Collection Management: Ensure all returns are collected safely and transported back to the main depot at the end of the shift.

Documentation: Accurately record all collection data, including photos and documentation, using handheld scanning devices.

Vehicle Safety: Conduct thorough daily vehicle checks (walkarounds) to ensure safety and functionality, reporting any defects to the transport team immediately.

Communication: Maintain effective and timely communication with the Transport Office regarding any potential delays or issues encountered on route.
Essential Driver Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following non-negotiable criteria:

Licence: Valid HGV C1 (7.5 Ton) Licence, held for a minimum of 2 years.

Age Requirement: Must be 25 years of age or older (due to insurance requirements).

Cards: Valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Qualification Card.

Experience: Proven experience driving a 7.5-ton vehicle and completing multi-drop/collection routes.

Endorsements: Maximum 6 penalty points on the licence. We cannot accept applications with the following codes: BA, CD40-90, DD, IN10, DR, or DG.
