We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sewing, altering, and repairing garments or fabric products to meet the highest quality standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sewing tasks including stitching, hemming, and repairing garments.
  • Operate industrial sewing machines and carry out manual hand sewing when necessary.
  • Inspect garments for defects or alterations, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
  • Meet productivity targets in line with departmental KPIs.
  • Adhere to all company health and safety guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with team leaders and colleagues regarding work progress and any issues.

Any 5 days out of 7

06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Pay Rates:

Weekdays:

06:00 AM - 02:00 PM: £13.49 per hour

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM: £13.89 per hour

Weekends:

06:00 AM - 02:00 PM: £14.49 per hour

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM: £14.89 per hour

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sewing, tailoring, or garment alterations preferred.
  • Ability to operate industrial sewing machines.
  • Strong manual hand sewing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work across different garment types and materials.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
