About the Role:
Abstract Recruitment is seeking a dedicated, customer-focused, and self-motivated Counterbalance Driver to join a UK-based, award-winning manufacturer of wool, synthetic, and blended carpets. This is an immediate start role offering an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Counterbalance trucks safely and efficiently
- Use FLT boom operation daily; training on overhead attachments for loading carpets will be provided onsite
- Report any accidents or damages promptly
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance for yourself and colleagues by adhering to safe working practices
- Communicate effectively within the team to maintain smooth operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience operating CB truck forklifts
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to meet deadlines and understand the impact of your role within the organisation
- Own transport is essential
