FLT Counterbalance Driver in Bedford

Our client is looking to hire multiple Multi skilled Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for a temporary-to-permanent position at their distribution facility based in Marston Gate MK43 0YL.

Comprehensive training will be provided by experienced leaders and colleagues, but prior forklift operating experience is essential.

As a forklift operator, your role will involve precise and safe navigation throughout the warehouse, yard, storage areas, and other facilities. We seek individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and significant experience operating industrial vehicles to ensure optimal efficiency in product placement.

Shift Pattern: 14:00-22:00 Monday to Friday

Requirements and Skills:

• Must have a valid FLT license
• Proven experience as a counterbalance operator
• Attention to detail, with a preference for familiarity with plumbing equipment
• Excellent physical condition and coordination
• Valid certification for operating forklifts and reach trucks
• Due to location candidates must have their own transport

Responsibilities:

• Sorting stock
• Managing stock returns. loading unloading trailers
• Unloading materials from incoming vehicles and stacking them in designated locations
• Adherence to company policies and legal regulations
• Identification and reporting of damages, shortages, or quality issues
