Description: Abstract Recruitment is seeking suitable candidates for our client based in Kettering, NN14, for the Driver Mate Role.
Responsible for multi-drop deliveries to customers' homes, displaying high customer service standards. *Please check the location before applying* Shift Pattern Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday NO MONDAY TO FRIDAY 5 days shift not 3-4 days 6 AM- 4/5 PM Pay Rate £13.15 per hour The primary purpose of the role Manual Handling of Customer Products, Timely and efficient completion of multi-drop deliveries and transportation Two people lifting heavy items.
To work in a safe manner To represent our client professionally to customers and provide excellent customer service at all times.
To maintain regular contact with the transport team Key skills and experience in this role will include: Previous experience as a Driver Mate Driving licence clear request, no points Van position available later Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting in line with H&S regulations.
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions.
Ability to count accurately and perform simple math calculations.
Experience in customer services Any other requirements Flexibility to work different shift patterns with variable start and finish times.
Ability to work in a physically demanding and challenging environment.
Teamwork - to assist and support colleagues in the region.
English must be fluent.
