Salary: up to £30,000 per annum plus bonus and generous benefits Full time permanent position (onsite) We’re looking for a Private Event and Wedding Coordinator, on behalf of our client, a renowned venue nestled within a picturesque setting. The role involves selling the event space and coordinating a variety of events, including weddings, private parties, and corporate meetings. You will also support sales activities for the Members Club. Key Responsibilities: Conduct show rounds of the Garden Rooms for weddings, meetings, private parties, Christmas parties, etc. with a pro-active selling technique To carry out all administrative tasks for the Sales and Events Department and to assist the Sales & Events Manager with sales and marketing aspects of the role To ensure all events are sold in the agreed terms for the organisation To ensure that all event details are always fully up to date. To ensure all financial transactions are in line with the organisation’s policies and procedures. To ensure that all departments receive function sheets, table plans and any other stationery prior to the event. To ensure the Managers are made aware of any issues or circumstances that may have impact on the business. Handle all internal and external calls in a professional and efficient manner, considering call response times, call handling and etiquette. Foster good working relationships across all departments to encourage interdepartmental support, creative thinking and ensure production and service standards are maintained across the organisation. Act as a role-model and proudly deliver excellent customer service to guests and colleagues. Manage your own diary appointments in an effective manner to ensure that appointments are both constructive, concise and of value to the business. Project a positive and joyful attitude, remain calm under pressure, create goodwill and nurture working relationships with all colleagues. Work in accordance with company standards and adhere to company practice and procedures including discipline and Health and Safety To promptly report any customer complaints to the Manager Person Specification: This is a wonderful opportunity for a candidate who is currently working as Wedding Coordinator seeking a fresh challenge or a candidate seeking a new role within events management. Previous experience within events management is essential Solid administration and organisational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Knowledge HubSpot, Hop PMS is desirable, however training will be provided Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent customer service skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Comfortable working to targets within a customer-focused environment Flexible on hours – happy to work weekends as and when required Ideally live within an easily commutable distance from Richmond upon Thames #J-18808-Ljbffr
