Job Description
PART TIME Property Manager/ Property Administrator.
3-4 days per week
Part time, office-based role with regular visits
Hours: 9am- 5pm
Based in Kingston upon Thames
Salary negotiable: DOE (pro rata)
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Property Manager or Property Administrator to manage a portfolio of properties based in North, South and West London, working from the office based in Kingston Upon Thames.
Person Specification:
- You will be an experienced Property Manager or Property Administrator
- A self-starter, experienced in working Independently and on own initiative
- Preferably ARLA qualified (or equivalent) with up-to-date knowledge of lettings and property management legislation
- Possess excellent administration skills with a methodical approach and strong attention to detail
- MS Office and database skills
- Excellent communication and customer services skills
- A self-starter, experienced in working Independently and on own initiative is paramount.
- Suit candidates who have perhaps worked in a “stand alone” property management role
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Full driving licence desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant management – Tenancy renewals, credit checks and pre-tenancy documentation
- Organising and co-ordinating maintenance and repairs for properties which will include liaison with landlords, tenants and contractors.
- Documenting and logging all stages of maintenance from start to completion.
- Maintaining and updating property compliance records in accordance with legal and statutory requirements.
- Organising Gas Safety Certificates, Electrical Inspections, Energy Performance Certificates
- To ensure dates and actions of all activities on properties is recorded, documentation is correct and up to date.
- Regular property visits are required
