We are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis to start ASAP. You will be joining a small team for a well-established organisation based in the WC1 area. The Assistant Accountant plays a key role within the Finance team, providing comprehensive support across the transactional finance function. The role ensures accurate and timely data input to maintain reporting integrity and supports the Finance Manager with periodic processes, including month-end cycles and year-end audits.
Responsibilities:
- Income/Membership: Full ownership of sales ledger
- Processing of monthly direct debit 3 cycles for membership contributions
- Processing of monthly Check Off including liaison with fire brigades and membership department
- Process membership refunds
- Process changes of officials’ roles in Access including assigning new accounts with correct details
