Role Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Consultant / Business Analyst with 5+ years experience of working in Retail or Hospitality sectors. The ideal candidate will play a key role in end-to-end project execution—from discovery and process design to delivery—while bridging the gap between business and technical teams. This role requires a mix of domain knowledge, functional expertise, technical understanding, stakeholder management, and platform configuration skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project discovery phases by organizing & facilitating workshops, capturing key outcomes, and maintaining discovery logs, while proactively learning relevant functional and technical concepts prior to kick-off.
  • Analyse clients’ current (“AS-IS”) landscape and design optimised future-state (“TO-BE”) processes that improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Translate business needs into actionable functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment between client stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams.
  • Ability to quickly learn new platforms / technologies to fulfil project needs.
  • Conduct in-depth technical and functional analysis to identify optimal solutions, resolve issues, and drive innovation opportunities.
  • Deliver high-quality project outputs on schedule, ensuring all deliverables are peer-reviewed and client-ready.
  • Maintain clear, regular communication with internal and client stakeholders on project progress, risks, and overall health, while escalating challenges when necessary.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and adapting communication to different audiences.
  • Configure and manage applications based on project requirements, including system setup, workflow configuration, and integration support.
  • Analyse data to support requirements gathering, validate designs, aid testing efforts, and monitor production performance.
  • Support pre-sales activities including organisational impact assessments, and solutioning discussions, drawing on experience to help influence decisions.
  • Provide advisory consulting services to Clients, using Business Domain & Platform knowledge to guide on strategic direction and operational cross-functional design.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Consultant / Business Analyst working with Retail or Hospitality clients.
  • Familiarity with industry standard cross-functional business processes.
  • Proven experience in process mapping, requirements engineering, solution design, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience of managing senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with typical types of applications used in Retail or Hospitality sectors such as CRM, ERP, POS, OMS, eCommerce, Clienteling, Loyalty, PIM/PLM, Booking/Reservation, Data/Analytics & Integration etc.
  • Experience of leading or managing a team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on Salesforce Projects ideally with knowledge of Loyalty Cloud.
  • Exposure to AI or automation tools and their practical application in business process improvement.
  • Experience in pre-sales support (e.g., RFIs/RFPs, solutioning, cost benefit analysis) and advisory consulting.
