We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in retail technology to lead complex digital transformation and systems integration programmes. This role is highly client-facing and requires someone who can own delivery end-to-end, establish strong governance, and drive structured execution across multiple stakeholders, vendors, and workstreams.

You will be responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of retail technology initiatives spanning areas such as POS, OMS, eCommerce, CRM, data platforms, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of retail technology programmes (discovery → rollout → hypercare)
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and dependencies
  • Ensure delivery against scope, timeline, budget, and quality benchmarks
  • Drive structured governance and reporting across stakeholders
  • Establish and run weekly/fortnightly client cadence (steering committees, sprint reviews, status updates)
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders
  • Provide clear, executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes
  • Manage expectations and proactively resolve delivery issues
  • Lead implementations across retail systems such as POS (e.g., NewStore, Oracle, Shopify POS), OMS, eCommerce platforms (Shopify, commercetools, etc.), CRM/CDP (Salesforce ecosystem preferred), Integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft)
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, integration, QA, and business teams
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies
  • Maintain RAID logs and ensure accountability across owners
  • Escalate effectively when required
Required Experience
  • 7+ years of Project Management experience
  • Proven track record delivering retail or omnichannel transformation programmes
  • Experience working in a consulting or system integrator environment
  • Strong understanding of retail architecture and systems landscape
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-vendor, multi-workstream programmes
  • Demonstrated ability to run structured client cadences and governance forums
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce (Commerce, OMS, Marketing, Data Cloud), MuleSoft or other integration platforms, Modern POS / Unified Commerce solutions, Exposure to MACH / composable architecture, Agile / Scrum delivery experience

  • Strong programme planning and execution discipline
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to operate at both executive and delivery team levels
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of SI delivery models
  • Structured thinker with strong problem-solving ability
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications preferred
