Role Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Solution Architect with deep expertise in Point of Sale (POS) to drive architecture for next-generation retail systems. This role will lead the design of store systems within an omnichannel ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration across POS, eCommerce, CRM, ERP, and payment platforms. You will play a key role in modernising retail store technology, enabling real-time data flow, and delivering high-performing, scalable and secure POS solutions across global retail environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for POS platforms across store and retail ecosystems.
- Design scalable architectures covering store systems, mPOS, self-checkout, and backend services.
- Define integration frameworks between POS, ERP, CRM, OMS, inventory, and payment gateways.
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to translate retail use cases into technical solutions.
- Drive omnichannel architecture, enabling seamless customer journeys across online and offline channels.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and security of POS systems in high-volume retail environments.
- Provide architectural guidance on API-first, microservices-based, and event-driven systems.
- Lead architecture discussions, solution reviews, and client-facing presentations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies in retail POS, payments, and digital commerce.
