We help organisations stay competitive and innovative by anticipating rapidly changing customer behaviours. Our strength lies in delivering tailored, outcome-driven solutions across cloud, data, platforms, and enterprise systems—helping clients adapt, scale, and innovate in an increasingly digital world.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with deep retail domain expertise to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale customer, loyalty, and marketing platforms for leading retail and consumer brands. The role is responsible for defining end-to-end solution architecture across Salesforce clouds and MuleSoft, ensuring scalable, secure, and business-aligned omnichannel solutions. The successful candidate will act as the technical authority and trusted advisor to CIOs, Digital Directors, CRM and Loyalty leaders, shaping customer, data, and integration architectures across stores, ecommerce, marketing, and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of multi-cloud Salesforce solutions across Loyalty Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and MuleSoft.
  • Define end-to-end omnichannel architectures spanning POS, ecommerce, mobile, contact centres, loyalty platforms, and marketing automation.
  • Produce high-quality architecture artefacts including solution blueprints, integration designs, data models, identity resolution flows, and environment strategies.
  • Own enterprise integration architecture using MuleSoft, defining API-led connectivity patterns and real-time data flows across retail systems such as POS, OMS, ERP, ecommerce, payments, and identity platforms.
  • Lead Data Cloud ingestion, harmonisation, and activation design to enable Customer 360, personalisation, loyalty, and analytics use cases.
  • Translate complex retail business processes into scalable platform solutions covering loyalty accrual and redemption, promotions, customer identity, consent, service, and personalisation.
  • Define security, identity, consent, and data privacy architecture in line with GDPR and retail compliance standards.
  • Act as the primary technical advisor to senior client stakeholders, leading architecture workshops, discovery sessions, roadmap definition, and executive design reviews.
  • Support pre-sales, RFP responses, solution shaping, estimates, and thought leadership across retail transformation initiatives.
  • Provide delivery leadership across discovery, design, build, testing, go-live, and hypercare, ensuring architectural quality and platform stability.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years' experience in enterprise CRM, customer platforms, or digital architecture, with at least 6 years on Salesforce.
  • Proven delivery experience with large retail or consumer brands on loyalty, marketing, customer data, and omnichannel service programmes.
  • Strong hands-on expertise across Salesforce Loyalty Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud.
  • Deep experience designing enterprise integrations using MuleSoft and API-led architectures.
  • Strong understanding of retail operating models, omnichannel journeys, loyalty economics, promotions, customer identity, and service operations.
  • Experience working in system integrators or consulting environments delivering complex multi-platform programmes.

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent architectural design, documentation, and governance discipline.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Commercially aware and outcome-driven, with a focus on adoption and business value.
  • Pragmatic, delivery-oriented, and comfortable operating in complex transformation environments.
  • Salesforce and MuleSoft certifications strongly preferred.

Brush Up on Your Technical Skills

For an IT consulting role, be ready to demonstrate your technical prowess. You might face questions on systems integration, cloud technologies, or even troubleshooting specific software. If you have experience with tools like AWS, Azure, or even specific programming languages, make sure you can talk about them fluently.

Showcase Your Problem-Solving Approach

IT consulting is all about solving problems for clients. Think about how you can illustrate your approach to a past challenge using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). It's a great way to show how you tackle complex issues and come up with effective solutions.
