Marketing Executive in Horwich

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys creating content, has a good understanding of marketing and wants the opportunity to get involved across different areas of an agency environment.

Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you’ll help deliver marketing activity that showcases our expertise, celebrates our work and supports the continued growth of the business.

You’ll also have the opportunity to work alongside our Client Services Team, giving you valuable insight into how an agency operates and how marketing activity connects with our clients, campaigns and wider business objectives.

What you'll be doing

Your day-to-day role will include:

• Creating engaging blog content that showcases our expertise and insights.
• Writing and scheduling social media content to increase our visibility and engagement.
• Supporting the creation and distribution of email newsletters.
• Supporting / promoting case studies that bring our client work and results to life.
• Supporting award entries, helping us tell the story behind our work and achievements.
• Supporting wider integrated marketing campaigns across different channels.
• Researching content ideas, industry trends and opportunities to raise the agency's profile.
• Working with colleagues across the agency to gather information, ideas and content.
• Providing marketing support to the Client Services Team when required.
• Helping with other marketing projects and activities as the business continues to grow.

This is a hands-on role, so you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, contribute ideas and see your marketing activity make a real difference.

What we're looking for

We're ideally looking for someone with 1–2 years' marketing experience, whether that's in an agency, in-house environment or another relevant setting.

We're also very open to hearing from graduates looking for a Year in Industry placement who are keen to build practical marketing experience in an agency environment.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong verbal communication skills.
• A genuine interest in content creation and marketing.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills, with an ability to adapt your writing for different audiences and channels.
• An understanding of integrated marketing campaigns and how different channels work together.
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
• Confidence working with different teams and communicating with colleagues across the business.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• An eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
