A market-leading national distributor is seeking an energetic Sales Account Manager to manage and grow customer accounts from its Tamworth office. This is a full-time internal sales role suited to someone who enjoys working to targets, building strong customer relationships, and being involved in quotations, order processing, and stock coordination.

The role

  • Achieving sales targets by value, volume, and gross margin
  • Managing and developing existing customer accounts
  • Identifying and developing new accounts
  • Producing accurate quotations using internal systems
  • Managing the full sales order process from enquiry through to fulfilment
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure stock availability and service levels
  • Producing monthly sales reports
  • Supporting stock purchasing and stock turn objectives
  • Maintaining professional day-to-day communication with customers via phone and email
  • Attending regular sales office meetings

  • Proven experience in sales or account management (internal sales experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Commercially aware and target driven
