Warehouse Operative Day Shift
Reach & Counterbalance FLT
Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Salary: £32,000 basic competitive annual discretionary bonus benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am5:00pm
Permanent No regular weekends
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a successful and well-established distribution business in Weybridge.
The company distributes thermoplastic sheet, rod and tubing to customers throughout the fabrication, engineering and signage sectors and is backed by a global acrylic manufacturer.
The Weybridge operation has an experienced, established team and offers long-term stability within a professional working environment.
The Role
You will be involved in all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations, including:
- Receiving and dispatching goods
- Picking customer orders accurately
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving and storing materials safely
- Operating Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks
- Stock control and stock movements
- Carrying out quality checks
- Reporting damaged or incorrect stock
- Supporting cutting and preparation of materials where required
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
What Were Looking For
- Previous experience within a busy warehouse or distribution environment
- Reach and Counterbalance FLT experience
- Current licences preferred
- Comfortable working in a high-volume warehouse operation
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and hardworking approach xgikmsk
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety
Experience operating Schelling saws or similar cutting machinery would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
