Internal Account Manager – Existing Accounts, New Business & Growth

Location:

Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

The role combines account management, account growth and proactive new business development. You’ll be responsible for developing existing customer relationships, re-engaging dormant accounts, identifying new opportunities and bringing on new clients across a varied commercial customer base.

This position would suit someone commercially minded who enjoys both relationship management and winning new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts
  • Re-engage dormant accounts and identify growth potential
  • Build strong long-term customer relationships
  • Produce quotations and maintain CRM accuracy
  • Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email
  • Work closely with purchasing and operations to support customer requirements
  • Produce clear sales reports and pipeline updates for management

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales, account management or business development

  • Comfortable using CRM systems and reporting tools
