Internal Sales Executive – Account Growth & Business Development

Weybridge, Surrey | £37,000 – £42,000 + Bonus + Private Healthcare + Pension

You don't just manage accounts — you grow them. You notice when a customer goes quiet and you pick up the phone. You know how to have a conversation that turns into an order.

This is an internal sales role with a product distributor supplying the shopfitting, signage, glazing and interiors trade. You'd be inheriting a real customer base and genuinely expected to grow it — including winning back dormant accounts and nudging customers away from competitors.

Office based in Weybridge. Monday–Friday, no weekends, no evenings. Suits someone from a product sales, trade, or distribution background.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Executive you will manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers while also identifying new opportunities within dormant and competitor accounts.

This role requires someone who is commercially focused, proactive, and comfortable driving conversations that lead to sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products
  • Re-engage dormant accounts and bring customers back to the business

  • Follow up enquiries and quotations to convert opportunities into sales
  • Maintain regular communication with customers via phone and email
