SAP / Technology Contract Recruitment Consultant – BD Focused (UK or US Market)
Location: UK-based (Remote / Hybrid)
Working Pattern: UK or US time zones (dependent on market focus)
Package: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission + long-term incentives
Important Role Clarification
This is a business development–led individual contributor role.
It is not a delivery, resourcing, account-support or internal recruitment position.
The Opportunity
Our client is an established agency-side recruitment business operating across the UK and internationally, with active contract recruitment across both UK and US markets.
They are now seeking an experienced BD-focused contract recruitment consultant to build and grow a profitable technology contract desk.
Depending on experience, background and preference, the successful hire will focus on either the UK market or the US market.
The role is designed for someone who enjoys winning new client business, building revenue personally, and operating with a high degree of autonomy. Team leadership comes later — the initial focus is entirely on individual billing and desk growth.
- You will be aligned to one primary market: UK or US
- Your working hours will reflect the time zone of the market you are covering
- In some cases, a blend of UK and US time zones may apply, depending on desk focus and experience
- You are not expected to fully cover both markets simultaneously unless mutually agreed and appropriate
The Role
You will operate as a hands-on, revenue-generating individual contributor, personally responsible for:
- Winning new client logos
- Building and scaling a contract recruitment desk
This is a true 360 role, with full ownership from business development through to placement and extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Personally win new client business within your aligned market (UK or US)
- Build and grow a profitable contract desk through new logo acquisition and account expansion
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and contractors
- Build contractor pipelines across technology and ERP-related skill sets
- Structure your working day to effectively support the time zone of your market
- Identify opportunities to increase contract headcount and revenue per account
- Progress into mentoring or leadership responsibilities once revenue is established
- Proven agency-side contract recruitment experience in a revenue-generating individual contributor role
- Demonstrable track record of winning new client business and building a contract desk
- Experience operating as a BD-led / 360 recruiter (not delivery-only)
- Background recruiting within technology contract markets
- Willingness and ability to work the time zone required by the market you are aligned to (UK or US)
- Previous exposure to the US contract recruitment market
