The Opportunity
We are working with a growing ERP consultancy delivering complex, high-value transformation programmes for mid-market and enterprise organisations. This is a senior delivery role for an experienced Project Manager who has led end-to-end ERP implementations while working for an ERP vendor, systems integrator, or ERP consultancy. You will own the delivery of multiple ERP projects, act as the primary escalation point for stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping delivery standards and best practice as the business continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of ERP implementation projects from initiation through to go-live
- Own project plans, scope, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Act as the primary escalation point for delivery challenges and decision-making
- Ensure projects are appropriately resourced with skilled consultants
- Drive strong governance, reporting, and delivery discipline
- Manage change control and ensure alignment with agreed objectives
- Prepare updates and reporting for steering groups and senior stakeholders
- Maintain delivery metrics to track progress, risks, and outcomes
- Collaborate closely with PMO, delivery, and leadership teams
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering ERP implementation projects end-to-end
- Experience gained while working for an ERP vendor, systems integrator, or ERP consultancy
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies and governance
- Experience managing multiple ERP projects of varying size and complexity
- Confident engaging and managing senior stakeholders and client expectations
- Comfortable operating in environments with ambiguity, change, and complexity
Important: This role is not suited to candidates whose ERP experience has been solely within end-user organisations (i.e. managing ERP projects internally for a single business).
